Yoga Shiksha Shibir at Nagdandi, Kashmir
Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra have shared a long and meaningful association with Kashmir since 1971 , serving the people of the region through various activities inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda. Yoga has always been a core activity of Vivekananda Kendra. Since 1973, various Yoga-related activities have been conducted at the Vivekananda Kendra Sri Ramakrishna Mahasammelan Ashram, Nagdandi *, through the dedicated efforts of Jeevanvratis, Sevavratis and other dedicated workers. Even during the most difficult period of militancy in Kashmir, Vivekananda Kendra continued to stand with the people and serve society through various service activities. As a part of this long-standing association and continued service, the " Mata Kshir Bhavani Bhandara Seva" was initiated, which continues even today as an expression of dedicated service and commitment to the people of Kashmir.
